Program
To maximize interdisciplinary interactions, the program will include non-concurrent sessions for oral and poster presentations. The following four keynote speakers will provide State-of-the-Art lectures on broad topics related to (and including) gap junctional research. The Organizing and Program Committees would like to thank these speakers for agreeing to participate in our meeting.

- Annmarie Surprenant (University of Sheffield, UK): Interplay between membrane receptors, pannexin and connexon channels.
- Paolo Meda (University of Geneva): Connexins in pancreatic function and diabetes
- Andrew L. Wit (Columbia University): Cardiac Arrhythmias
